Bamboo raft ride down the Martha Brae river that flows out of the cockpit country and winds its way down to the sea. From rafters rest your raft captain will take you on a gentle ride through the lush vegetation. You can stop for a swim or buy drink or craft items from some enterprising locals who set up shop on the banks of the river.
Visit Miss Martha’s herb garden for a presentation of Jamaican herbs famous for their medicinal properties.
The luminous Lagoon is a world-famous body of water all because of one astonishing little feature: it glows, literally. From dusk onwards you get to glimpse the wonderful sight as waves and movements cause the water to glow a beautiful blue, highlighting life and objects in the water.
Go for a guided evening of fun and excitement when you not only get to witness this world-famous sight but experience it by taking a late-night dip in the water and watch the dinoflagellates surround you with a bioluminescent aura.
